Mobile Storytelling & Sharing System

Organization
Convivio. Edinburgh, Scotland. August 2006.

Roles
Workshop Participant & Presenter

Description
Nine interaction designers from Europe and United States joined together to create a design concept that aims to help users capture and share their stories with others in the same physical space. During the festivities of 5 different summer events in Edinburgh, we interviewed and observed travelers to understand the type of stories they tell and people to whom they share their stories.

Putting a different twist to the traditional use case development process, we enacted our use scenario in front of a live audience to collect feedback on the realism and validity of those use cases. We then carried our ideas into conceptualization and created a 3-parts system that re-establishes the connection between digitally captured memories with people and their physical spaces.

The final presentation was part of the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
